Hey, you can hear from the Lord too!

Last month, the Lord gave me two dreams in two consecutive weeks. I didn't see how they relate to each other initially, until I talked to the Lord about them. And He gave me the understanding.

In the first dream, I saw some believers of God are secluding themselves away from the sight of others. They had tried finding the solutions to their problems from different Christian groups and organizations, but to no avail. They seemed to be so overwhelmed by the sense of failure and defeat.

I woke up feeling sad and could only pray for these people whom I do not know, wherever they are.

In the second dream, I saw the Lord conveying His message and giving His confirmation to a Christian through a non-believer. I was astounded!

I remember waking up saying, "Did I see it wrongly, Lord? Is it possible?"

Then I heard the Lord said this, "Yes, I would speak even through someone who do not know Me because My people are not willing to seek Me for answers. In fact, many do not believe that I can speak to them anymore. Due to their unbelief, they do not ask. Thus, they do not receive or hear from Me!"

After hearing the Lord, my spirit groaned deeply inside of me, and I cried for God's people. I wish to see more believers of Christ learn to hear directly from the Lord, instead of feeling lost or being tossed to and fro by wrong advices. I wish to see more believers of Christ come out victorious from their sense of defeat and depression, always knowing what to do with their lives, and with the guidance and direction of the Lord.

The second dream reminded me of the story of Balaam and his donkey in the Book of Numbers chapter 22. Have you read it before? Do read it again if you have the time. If God can speak through a donkey, He can choose to speak through anyone or anything. And He can definitely speak to you and through you. Amen?

I do not know why some people do not believe God can speak to them personally, because I have been hearing from Him ever since I accepted Christ into my life in my early teens. There has always been two-way communication with the Lord. Isn't that what a relationship is about? And it's clearly written in the Bible that the Lord speaks to His beloved, whether in the Old Testament or in the New Testament. So, why can't the Lord speak to you in this present time? Isn't He the same God, yesterday, today and forever?

John 10:27 (EASY) My sheep recognize My voice. I know them and they follow Me.

Now, do not be afraid to hear from God or make mistakes. The Lord will teach you to recognize His voice if you learn to trust Him and hear from Him. If you need help and assurance, find a fellow believer or spiritual leader who is experienced in hearing the Lord and share with them your experiences with the Lord.

John 14:15-18 (EASY) Jesus then said, "If you love Me, do what I have told you to do. I will ask the Father to help you with this. He will send another Helper to be with you. That Helper will stay with you for ever.  He is God's Spirit and He shows you what is true. The people who belong to this world cannot receive Him. That is because they cannot see Him. They cannot know who He is. But you know Him because He stays with you. And He will be in you. I will not let you remain alone, like children without parents. I will come to you."

God has never intended for you to be left alone without His help and guidance in your life. He is always ready to guide and help you.

John 16:13-15 (EASY) But the Spirit will come. He is the one who shows people true things about God. When He comes, He will be a guide to you. He will help you to understand everything that is true. He will not speak on His own authority. He will tell you only what He hears from the Father. He will tell you about things that will happen after this time. He will take My message and He will tell it to you. In that way, He will give Me honour. Everything that the Father has is Mine. That's why I said, "The Spirit will take what is Mine and He will tell it to you."

You will never feel lost if you allow His Spirit to guide you. Spend time with Him. Read His Word. Talk to Him. Allow Him to speak to you in the ways He chooses to.

1 John 2:27 (EASY) But Christ has given the Holy Spirit to you, and He continues to help you. So you do not need people to teach you what is true. The Holy Spirit Himself teaches you everything about God's message. He helps you to know what is true. He does not tell you any lies. So you must remember what He has taught you. Continue to live together with Christ.

According to this Bible verse, it should be a norm that believers of Christ are used to having two-way communication with the Lord in their daily living, and being taught by Him personally in every area of their lives. Do you believe in His Word? Do you want to see this happening in your life? The choice is yours!

Luke 11:9-10 (EASY) So I tell you this. Continue to ask God for what you need. Then God will give it to you. Continue to look for what you need. Then you will find it. Continue to knock at the door and God will open it for you. Everyone that asks for something will receive it. Everyone that looks for something will find it. God will open the door for everyone that knocks on it.

If you wish to hear from the Lord and receive His guidance personally, do not be afraid to ask from Him. In fact, in Luke 11:9-13, it can be about asking the Lord for the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit's guidance. So, you shall surely hear from Him, if you believe and continue to ask from Him. He has promised this!

Let us pray.

"Father God, Your word has said that we can hear from You directly, and we can receive Your guidance through the Holy Spirit, as long as we ask. So, we ask,  O Lord, that we can hear from You and receive Your wisdom, so that we will know what to do with our lives and with our future. We ask that we always have a two-way communication with You. Teach us to recognize Your voice and receive Your confirmation, whenever we perceive that we have heard words, seen a vision, or receive a dream from You. All these we pray, in the name of Jesus. Amen."

Things didn't go well as planned? Watch this!

I sense in the spirit that, at this time and juncture, many people of God are frustrated because their lives do not go as they have planned or imagined they should. Feeling out of control of their lives also give way to the negative emotions of grief, fear, anger, stress, and low self-esteem.

But here, the Lord wants you to hold on to Him, because He is never out of control. He is still in charge of your life, as long as you allow Him. Trust Him that He can protect you, lead you, and guide you to a fulfilling life, in the right season, in His perfect timing.

There can be many reasons why things don't happen according to your plan or happen on time. I'm going to talk about three possible reasons.

One of the possible reasons: It was a bad plan!

In Proverbs 19:21, 'There are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the Lord's counsel - that will stand.'

We human beings tend to plan a lot. It's not a bad thing to plan. But if the plan we have is bad, it's going to affect our future, and even the life of our loved ones.

Let's look at Abraham's plan for his future. In Genesis 12, God told Abraham, whose name was Abram then, to get out of his country. At that time, Abram was already 75 years old. But he did not have any son. He brought his nephew, Lot, along. Probably, he took Lot who is blood-related, to be like his own son. And probably, he planned to pass his inheritance to him when he pass on. But it was a bad plan! And a bad move! Why? In Genesis 13, Abram started to accumulate more wealth, and so did Lot his nephew. They had lots of flocks, herds, and tents. Soon, there was strife between Abram's herdsmen and Lot's herdsmen, because the land could not cater for all their livestock. Eventually, Abram had to let Lot go. They went separate ways.

You see, Abram received a true revelation from God. He started with his own perceived good plan. But his plan didn't turn out well. The plan went bad. It's the same with some of God's people. They received a true revelation from the Lord, but they did not seek God for guidance before they take the first step. Consequently, their plans went bad. It can happen to a personal decision, a business partnership or joint venture, or even a collaboration between spiritual ministries.

However, even with some bad decisions you've made in the past, there's hope for you. Now, after Lot left Abram, the future had been realigned for Abram. God started speaking to Abram again, and God gave him a new purpose and a clearer picture of how his future would be. God told Abram of the many descendants he's going to have, and the vastness of the land he's going to possess.

You see, the first step you take is going to affect the many steps that you're going to take in the later part of your life.

If you have experienced the consequences of a bad plan, ask the Lord to help you to realign to His plan for you. And trust me. Your God is a good Abba Father who is willing to turn things around for your good. However, if you're still at the juncture of making a new plan, seek the Lord for the right one or the right way, before you take the first step. And after you've taken the first step according to His leading, He will lead you on to the second step, and so forth.

The second possible reason: It could be that it is a workable plan, but God has a better plan for you!

In Proverbs 16:9, 'A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.'

Well, this is a situation where we use our human intelligence to have a workable plan, but God sees farther and better. Well, for sure, no one can outsmart God! In Genesis 15, Abram thought of getting his loyal servant, Eliezer of Damascus, who was born into his household, to be his heir, because he could not foresee that he would have any offspring at his age. But God promised Abram that he would have his own child. Abram thought of a possible plan, but God gave him a better one! It was good that he presented this before the Lord. Or else, he would end up giving his inheritance to his servants.

I would say this again and again. Consult the Lord before making any final decision for your plan. The Lord cares for every little thing that is happening in your life. He will teach you and guide you, as long as you consult Him.

The third possible reason: It's the right plan, but it's wrong timing!

In Ecclesiastes 3:1, 'To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.'

In Genesis 16, Sarai felt bad that she could not give birth to any child. She gave her maid, Hagar, an Egyptian, to Abram as his mistress. As a result, Ishmael was born. And that was the starting point of all the resentment, strife, and conflict in the household and among the descendants of Abram.

You see, Sarai meant well. And Abram gave in. Well, he could have consulted God first. But he didn't. Everyone was trying to help God to fulfill God's purpose in Abram's life, before the right and ripe time! And the outcome was, a plan with a good intention turned into a really bad and nasty one!

After that, in Genesis 18, Abraham and Sarah had long past childbearing age when Sarah heard the Lord tell Abraham that she was going to bear a child. She laughed! Probably, she thought it was ridiculous, because to her, the timing was off, and it was too late! It was impossible for her to imagine getting pregnant at such age. But true enough, God's promise came to pass. In Genesis 21, Sarah gave birth to Isaac.

Now, God sees timing differently from us. Sometimes, we wonder why our prayers are not answered yet, or why the plan we have started have not shown any result yet. And the long wait for result can really be testing every bit of patience and faith that we have. But if your plan is given by the Lord, and your decision is based on God's revelation, then always remember Psalm 27:14. It says, 'Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!'

Dear beloved, the Lord has a perfect plan and timing for you. It will probably take quite a bit of your patience and endurance. And it will take your absolute trust and confidence in Him. But it's definitely worth the wait. Amen!

Prayer:

"Father God, we acknowledge Your thoughts and Your ways are higher than ours. Therefore, we humble ourselves before You, and we pray that You teach us, lead us, and guide us in our decision-making and plan-making. We surrender our mind, our intelligence, our will, and our emotion before You. Hone us and mold us so that we will learn to flow better and better with You. We thank You that You care about every little thing that's happening in our lives, and we want to always have You involved in every area of our lives. In the name of Jesus. Amen."

He will guide you with His eye!

Words from the Lord:
"Time will change. Situation will change. Environment will change. But do not fear! I will guide you with My eyes as long as you seek Me. You will not stumble as long as you stay close to Me. Remember, I am your Shield, and your Exceedingly Great Reward!"

What does "I will guide you with My eyes" mean here? In Psalm 32:8 (NKJV), the Lord says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye." The word 'eye' here is 'ayin' in Hebrew, and in this context, it means 'with the way I see how things should be' or 'with the way I think best for you'.

Now, there are other Bible versions that put it as, "I will watch over you", and nothing wrong with that. But if you look at the NKJV version, you'll find a deeper understanding on what this means. It's not just protecting you by 'watching over you', but it's to protect you by guiding your every thought, sight, and action!

In a time like this, which is also a time of change and new strategies, seek the Lord for even the new ways and new approach in how you do things, whether in ministry or in any other area of your life! If you listen to Him, and do according to what He says, you are going to see yourself moving in greater ways, going forward!

There's never before that you need more of the wisdom of God and knowledge of God but for such time as this! But one assurance for you in this time of transition is: "Fear not!" Because whoever that put their trust in the Lord and seek His way, there will be no dead-end road for you! The Lord's wisdom, knowledge and understanding will be with you, as long as you seek Him. Amen!

Therefore, let your mind be aligned with His mind (Philippians 2:5) to know what He thinks, what He likes, and what His will is. When you align your perspective with His perspective, your attitude, your opinion, your interest, and your motivation will also change! You'll not be so easily influenced by whatever the world says, but you will want God's will be done through your life. Amen!

The Time for New Strategies

9th February 2020

In the past few weeks, I have been hearing and seeing in the spirit the word ‘New Strategies’ for countless number of times. I sought the Lord and He said this:

“This is THE TIME for new strategies! You have abundance of knowledge in this world. But, only My insight and wisdom will lead you to safety, stability and prosperity. For I seek to profit you, not to harm you. Stay close to Me and I will guide you.”

The Lord spoke further through Isaiah 33:6 (NKJV) that says, ‘Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure’.

I believe this is a crucial time to stay close to the Lord and walk closely with the Lord as all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge that we need for our future can only be found in Him (see Colossians 2:3).

It is written in Proverbs 9:10 (ESV) that says, ‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight’.

Wisdom [chokmāh] in Hebrew is derived from the word [châkam]. It means ‘to be wise in mind, word and action’, and ‘to be able to deal wisely’. On the other hand, ‘to have an insight means you ‘have the capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of someone or something’.

Every one of us needs God’s wisdom and knowledge especially in a time of change.

In Genesis 13:8-9 (NKJV), Abraham was going through a time of change, and he had to make a firm decision. So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.”

Abraham treated Lot, his nephew, like his own son. But when the young man had grown up and become rich under the care of his uncle, their herdsmen started to fight with each other for green pastures for their herds, resulting in tension in the household. It was not easy for Abraham to let Lot go, but it was necessary and it was the right thing to do. Out of his love for Lot, and also with the faith of knowing that God will take care of him, Abraham gave Lot the privilege to choose the land he preferred.

Do you welcome change? Are you willing to change your way of thinking and doing things when it is necessary? Do you check with the Lord how to make changes before taking any action?

...Because they do not change, therefore they do not fear God (Psalm 55:19b NKJV).

‘To fear God’ is ‘to revere Him and respect what He says’. So, when God tells you it is time to change your strategy, method, approach, way of doing thing, or even way of thinking, TAKE HEED! You will listen to His instruction to change if you fear Him and acknowledge that He knows better than you, and that He also knows better than any of your seniors or gurus.

But the Lord watches over those who fear Him, those who rely on His unfailing love.
He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine.
We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield.
(Psalm 33:18-20 NLT)

You see, those who fear God and have faith in Him will listen, agree and do as He says. Because they know that God will not lead them into trouble, but He will lead them with His protection and providence. True humility and fear of the Lord will always lead you to riches, honor, and long life (see Proverbs 22:4).

How do you know what God wants you to do now? Be like ‘Mary’ who sat at the feet of Jesus, listening to His word, and spending time with Him. You will then receive His wisdom and guidance. Just do according to what He has instructed you to do. Do not be like ‘Martha’, who was succumbed by worries and loads of cares. Human effort is limited. But with God’s wisdom and guidance, results can be achieved easily without striving hard with human effort (see Luke 10:38-42).

“Come near to Me, hear this:
I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there.
And now the Lord God and His Spirit have sent Me.”

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.
Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
Isaiah 48:16-18 (NKJV)

Know that God, your Heavenly Father is a good God. You are always in His heart and He cares for you. He will always guide you and teach you to profit. May the peace of the Lord that surpasses all understanding guide your heart and your mind as you put your trust in Him. Amen!

Do you understand God's perfect love for you?

If you understand God’s perfect love for you:
- you will have no fear, be it the fear of man or the fear of difficult circumstances
- you will reciprocate His love by choosing to flee from temptation and thus not falling into sin easily
- you will seek and follow His specific instructions for you because you know He holds your best future in His hand

You will have no fear

1 John 4:18 (TLB)
We need have no fear of someone who loves us perfectly; His perfect love for us eliminates all dread of what He might do to us. If we are afraid, it is for fear of what He might do to us and shows that we are not fully convinced that He really loves us.

Many people have all kinds of fear holding them captured nowadays. They have fear for the future, fear of being sick, fear of being in lack, fear of rejection, fear of being taken advantage of, etc. But as believers of God, if you are still being ‘haunted’ by fear, you are not living in the liberty whence Christ had set you free (read John 8:36 & Galatians 5:1).

According to 1 John 4:18, you have fear because you are not yet fully convinced that God really loves you. You are afraid that God might punish you for the sins that you have committed. You are afraid that He will not heal you from your sickness. In fact, sometimes you suspected that it could be Him who put the sickness upon you. You are still not sure if God is hearing your prayer for financial breakthrough. Sometimes, you thought that He intentionally allow you to go through sufferings in life. At times, you even concluded that He had chosen to ignore you or give up on you.

It is because God loves you that He sent Jesus, His only begotten Son, to die for your sins on the cross so that you are no longer condemned but saved through Him (read John 3:16-17). If you have committed a sin, repent before the Lord and ask for His forgiveness. He will surely forgive you. Don’t run away from Him! Know that your God is a good God and He does not keep grudges! (read Romans 2:4)

Now that you know God loves you dearly and perfectly, surrender all your fears to Him. Receive the assurance of His love, His care, His healing, His wisdom, and His providence in your life.

You will flee from temptation

2 Timothy 2:22 (TLB)
Run from anything that gives you the evil thoughts that young men often have, but stay close to anything that makes you want to do right. Have faith and love, and enjoy the companionship of those who love the Lord and have pure hearts.

In 2 Timothy 2:22, Timothy was told by Apostle Paul to stay away from people who could lure him into temptation. He was advised to join the company of those who love God. Why? Because people who love God won’t want to do things that could hurt His feeling! Love begets love. You will learn to love God after understanding and experiencing His love for you (read 1 John 4:19).

Human beings tend to love themselves (being fleshly, selfish, carnal, or self-centered) more than in consideration for others. Because of that, they tend to give in to their fleshly desires, and therefore be tempted and sin. How effectively can you stay away from temptation and not sin for the sake of meeting religious requirements or social expectations? Jesus said you have already committed a sin once you have a sinful thought or imagination (read Matthew 5:27-28).

On the contrary, when you are in love with someone who loves you, you would want to please him (her). You would try your best not to hurt or disappoint him (her). You would not want to see him (her) sad or cry. You can’t bear to even have any sinful thought that makes you betray him (her) in your mind. The same goes with loving God! You can only resist temptation effectively when you are deeply in LOVE with God!

You will seek and follow His specific instructions for you

Jeremiah 29:11 (TLB)
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Most people have their own ideal plans for their future based on their own upbringings, values, and natural talents. But will all these plans work perfectly for them? Are these plans made just to fulfill family or social expectations?

But the people of God are told to entrust their plans into God’s hand (read Proverbs 16:3). Why? Because the God who loves you is also the God who sees the beginning and the end (read Revelation 1:8, 17). He sees the future that you could neither see nor imagine. Only He can lead you to the perfect path, the best vocation, the right spouse, and even the right friends. Only He knows how to help you avoid stepping on the ‘landmines’, and overcome all the challenges along your path.

When you truly understand that such an all-knowing and all-powerful God actually love you dearly and has the best plan in store for your life, you will never hesitate to seek Him and follow every instruction that He gives you!

God has given you the solutions

The Lord gave me a dream in which someone who favored me gave me a gift. When I opened the gift box, I found a bottle of saline solution and a bottle of contact solution for contact-lenses. The Lord then gave me the understanding that the bottle of saline solution (saltwater) represents the gospel of peace - Jesus. The bottle of contact solution that does the cleansing, soaking and dissolving unwanted protein/minerals represents the Holy Spirit.

Interpretation:
The Lord has given His people His peace and solutions to dissolve their uncertainties and problems. But they have to open the gift and use the solutions!

Then the Lord led me to the book of Daniel in the Old Testament. If you haven’t known the story of Daniel with King Belshazzar, you might want to read the whole chapter 5 of the book of Daniel before proceeding to read the below.

Daniel 5:11 (NKJV)
“There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father - your father the king -- made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans and soothsayers.

Daniel who had the Spirit of God in him was said to have wisdom and understanding ‘like the wisdom of the gods’.

As believers of Christ, you can have the same Spirit of God dwelling in you today. Believers of Christ who are filled with the Holy Spirit will be able to receive guidance of the Lord through words of prophecy, anointed dreams, and spiritual visions.
(See Joel 2:28-29; John 14:16-17; Acts 2: 1-4; Acts 2:16-21; Acts 2:38-39)

Daniel 5:16 (NKJV)
“And I have heard of you, that you can give interpretations and explain enigmas (dissolve doubts - KJV). Now if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, you shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around your neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

Enigma = something that is mysterious, and seems impossible to understand completely
Dissolve [shrê’] = to free, to separate
Doubts [qᵉṭar] = a knot, confusion

Daniel was able to interpret and explain mysteries that freed people (especially the king) from confusion.

As you wait and soak in the Holy Spirit, He will reveal His wisdom and understanding to you. He will give you the solutions to dissolve problems and to have a clear direction for your life.
(See Isaiah 64:4; 1 Corinthians 2:7-12; 1 John 2:20 & 27)

Daniel 5:29-30 (NKJV)
Then Belshazzar gave the command, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a chain of gold around your neck, and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
That very night Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans, was slain.

Clothed with purple = authority
Chain of gold = prosperity
Third ruler = chief counselor to the king and crown prince

Daniel’s prophetic interpretation of the mysterious handwriting on the wall came to pass. The kingdom of Babylon fell into the hands of the enemy that night but Daniel still received the benefits promised by the king.

You see, God’s wisdom is above all man-made political and economic systems. He is not limited by the scarce resources of this world. Therefore, when you live with the guidance of God’s Spirit and His words, you too will reap the benefits endued to you, even in this fallen world!
(See Ephesians 1:9; Ephesians 1:17-21)

John 14:26-27 (NKJV)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Open the ‘gift’ God has given to you as a believer of Christ, and use the ‘solutions’. Learn God’s ways through His Spirit and His words. You will be able to live with the divine peace of God and His blessings in every season of of your life!

Spiritual Guidance (Roadmap) for the next 9 months

The Lord woke me up before dawn on the last Friday of March 2015. He showed me 7 things that He wants His people to know and conceive for the next 9 months of year 2015 (i.e. April 2015 – December 2015).

1.       Vision: A Door and A Key
Revelation 3:7-8 (NLT)
…This is the message from the One (Jesus) who is holy and true, the One (Jesus) who has the key of David. What He opens, no one can close; and what He closes, no one can open. “I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” (See also Isaiah 9:7 & 22:22)

For those who are facing dead end road since year 2014, put your trust in the Lord and seek His wisdom. Know that your God is the one who makes a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (see Isaiah 43:19). He always does new things. He can create a new way for you even when there seems to be no way out. Seek His wisdom and consult His advice, He will remove the veil to your spiritual sight and understanding. As a result, you will be able to see the ‘new door’ and receive the ‘key’ to unlock and venture to a better future.

2.       Vision: A Signet Ring
Genesis 41:42-44 (NLT)
Then Pharaoh removed his signet ring from his hand and placed it on Joseph’s finger… Then he had Joseph ride in the chariot reserved for his second-in-command…And Pharaoh said to him (Joseph), “I am Pharaoh, but no one will lift a hand or foot in the entire land of Egypt without your approval. (See also Esther 8:2)

Always remind yourself that God has given you His ‘signet ring’ (authority, see Luke 10:19) in Christ. No circumstances can come against you unless you allow them. Right after God who is the King of your life, you are the ‘second-in-command’ of your life! You have been given the authority to bind [forbid] and loose [permit] in Jesus’ name (see Matthew 16:19).

3.       Vision: Saw the words –  ‘Righteousness is the Revolution’
The meaning of ‘revolution’ in dictionaries:
  • The movement of one object around a center or another object.
  • A forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system.
  • A dramatic and wide-reaching change in conditions, attitudes, or operation.
(You may check: Online Your Dictionary, Online Oxford Dictionaries)

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
For He made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Titus 3:5 (NKJV)
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Applying the above scriptures to the 3 meanings of ‘revolution’, you will see a spiritual revolution in your life. First of all, allow the Spirit of Jesus (the Holy Spirit) to be in the centre of your life. Pray in the spirit and consult Him often. The next thing you will see is an out throw of ‘old government’ (i.e. old mindset) in your way of thinking. In no time, without you realizing it, you will have the mind of Christ. You will start thinking, speaking and acting in the way of His Spirit (See Ephesians 4:24; 2 Peter 3:13). Without struggle, you will desire His desires and your decision making will always align with His will.

4.       Vision: Big Submarines
I saw many big submarines equipped with torpedoes and missiles are being sent out. But they are to submerge in the sea until it is due time to emerge.

Hebrews 13:21 (NLT)
May He equip you with all you need for doing His will. May He produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to Him. All glory to Him forever and ever! Amen.

Many of you are crying out for promotion, acknowledgement and recognition. The Lord is still training and equipping you. Continue doing what you have been gifted and led by the Lord. By keeping you hidden from public eyes for a time, He is actually protecting you from the enemy and your own ignorance. He is also building your character, attitude and altitude. When He deems you ‘matured’ and ‘ready’, He will allow you to surface, to be seen and to be known.

5.       Vision: Prisoners To Be Released
I saw inmates to be released are collecting their own belongings from police officer on their way out of prison.

Isaiah 61:1-2
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me (Jesus), because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD…  (See also Luke 4:18-19)

Allow the Lord to release you from your old ways of doing things. Choose to let go of ‘old knowledge’ and former ways of doing things that has bound you for a long time. Allow yourself to breathe the ‘fresh air’ and to try out the new things the Lord has in store for you.

6.       Heard Chinese word in the spirit: 重生

                   = to be born again
Chóng   shēng

John 3:3, 5-7 (NLT) Jesus and Nicodemus
Jesus replied, “ I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God…Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’”

The Lord wants you to be ‘born again’, not just to receive salvation through Christ but to be ‘Spirit-filled’ in Christ. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, the Spirit of truth and grace, and the Spirit of righteousness. (See John 14:15-18, 26-27; 15:26; 16:8-15)

Ezekiel 36:25-27 (NKJV)
Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you... I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.

The cleansing by the Word cum the renewal and regeneration of the Holy Spirit have always been the truth in both Old and New Testaments. It has always been God’s desire to see His people being changed inside out, by His Spirit.
(See Numbers 19:17-19; Isaiah 32:15; 44:3; Joel 2:28-29; Zechariah 13:1; Romans 8:1-8; 12-13; Ephesians 5:26; Titus 3:5)

Philippians 3:8 (NLT) Apostle Paul
I once thought these things (knowledge, qualification, status, recognition) were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake, I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith.

Nicodemus and Paul were both Pharisees. Nicodemus could not grasp what Jesus said because he was bound by the teaching of religious law. Only Apostle Paul understood that all the religious knowledge he had could not help him become the person God wants him to be. He realized he needed the Spirit of grace to help him step out of his ‘religious box’ in order to receive the truth and righteousness in Christ.

To be born again is not just about being saved. It also means to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Reasons being:
  • Only the Holy Spirit can help you to let go of your old way of thinking and doing things.
  • Only the Holy Spirit can teach you God’s Word and give you spiritual understanding.
  • Only the Holy Spirit can put God’s thoughts in you and inculcate His ways in you!

7.       Smelled:  The Aroma of High Quality Fragrance Rice
Isaiah 1:19 (NKJV)
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.

Wherever God tells you to be and whatever He tells you to do, be there and do it. As a result, you will prosper in everything you do.

For the next 9 months (April 2015 – December 2015), know that:
